I am signing up to support the One to 1000 project. My father's family were farmers. On his father's side, they migrated to California early, but on his mother's side, they were displaced and moved west as migrant workers. There was never a time that the two of them were divorced from the land and all it offers. My grandmother once said she still could not see a freshly tilled field without strong feelings of joy. I found out about the project through TPRF, a sponsor of the the effort to provide Kickstart pumps to African farmers.
