About Me

In the past 13 years I've gone from married with a house and a good job, to devastated by the early death of my mom, divorced, living with my dad, unemployed and completely starting over at the bottom.

I got remarried, started my own company, wrote and directed a short movie, became a foster parent and adopted the two little loves of my life, bought a house, and we're now planning a big move across the country.

But those are the physical things. Emotionally I'm a completely different person than I was even 8 years ago. I'm no longer afraid to say what I think or feel, I don't care if people don't agree with my choices, and I've learned it's better to have a few close friends than a ton of fair-weathered ones. I'm finally creating the incredible life I've always wanted. It took me a long time to get here, and I'm not done learning yet.
