Rini [Harini S Raghavan] is a New York based South Indian Singer, Songwriter and Violinist who blends Indian Classical and Folk music with Electronica and Rock. She has recorded with Grammy winning composers A.R.Rahman and Bill Whelan and performed with A.R.Rahman at the United Nations General Assembly Hall and Boston Symphony Hall. She has headlined music festivals like Musikfest(Lyrikplatz Stage) in Bethlehem, PA as bandleader of 'Rini' and Bengaluru Ganesh Utsav in India as a soloist and core member of The Berklee Indian Ensemble. She is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a Major in Electronic Production and Design. She is also a core member of the Electro-Acoustic Fusion band Trandcention. She was a featured soloist on violin in the video ‘Jiya Jale’ by The Berklee Indian Ensemble, released in 2014, that has 7 million views to date. She has toured across the country with popular Indian singers like Karthik and Devan and has been instrumental in arranging and conducting a string ensemble from Berklee as a part of a collaboration with South Indian musicians lead by Singer Karthik. She is a regular in New York City venues such as Rockwood Music Hall, Pianos and Silvana.

A music video from her debut EP 'Kural' was featured on Rolling Stones India and Rini was ranked #11 in the top world music bands in New York City by The Deli NYC alongside other renown musicians like Rudresh Mahanthappa.She is a featured soloist and choir member of the Berklee Indian Ensemble. She was featured on violin in the video ‘Jiya Jale’ that has 4 million views to date. She has toured with the popular Indian singer Karthik in Chicago, Detroit and the Bay Area, California as a strings orchestra conductor, arranger and a solo violinist. She is an upcoming musical presence amongst the Indian diaspora and is a regular in New York City venues such as Silvana, Bowery Electric, Pianos and Muchmore's.
