Family - Born in Kaashyapa’ goutra- Maadhva Brahmana family to Shri. SD Gururaja Rao & Smt. S. Shakunatala in Bangalore, as the 3 son among two elder brothers. His forefathers originated from Chikkamagalur. He is a under graduate of Arts and Philosophy and in later years studied Sanskrit & Vedanta through different teachers of Dwaita and Adwaita philosophies. He is married to Mrs. Gayathri who is now a karnatic classical singer and has a son named Purandara Kashyap.
In services :> Writer, poet in Veda’vedantas of ‘Bhakti’ principles under the great devotional masters of ‘Hari daasa’ lineage of Karnataka, under the divine ‘Dwaita’ philosophy fame “Acharya Madhva” principles.
His discourses are well spread in kannada. He is also a well versed writer & Speaker in Urduish-hindi and English. His has penned hundreds of urdish-hindi shayaris & ghazals, and very thought provoking English poems and phrases.
