Haris Rehman

I’m Haris Rehman, a Berlin-based venture builder working across strategy, product, and execution. I help founders, operators, and experts turn strong domain insight or existing distribution into businesses that make commercial sense. My focus is on building things that can be repeated, improved, and scaled over time.

I’m especially interested in venture building where deep domain expertise or distribution is the starting point. Sometimes that means working with people who understand a problem at a depth the market has not fully recognised yet. Sometimes it means working with people who already have reach, trust, or audience, but need a better path from attention to product, system, and revenue. In both cases, the work is fundamentally about building the right structure around a real advantage and turning it into something commercially solid.

Over time, this has led me toward vertical-specific venture studios, where the model is shaped by the realities of the industry rather than borrowed from generic startup playbooks.

I mentor founders through the Westerwelle Foundation, enpact, and Mercedes beVisionaries. I guest lecture at ESCP Business School. I write System Notes on Substack on systems, people, and decision-making, and share shorter reflections on LinkedIn.
