Harlan Kleiman is developing a health-care company targeted to Medicare and Medicaid enrollees. He previously worked as a sales and marketing consultant for Medical Management Systems, Inc., in Wayzata, Minnesota. While consulting, Harlan Kleiman connected the management firm with medical institutions, including ones at Ohio State University, the University of West Virginia, and the University of Pittsburgh.

Before taking on this position in early 2015, Harlan Kleiman was chief executive officer of the Self Health Network, a company he founded in 2011. He created patient-centric software that allowed users to connect with their doctors, pharmacists, and principal caregivers.

Harlan Kleiman earned his bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in philosophy from Hunter College of the City University of New York. While there, he was president of the study body and founded the College Political Forum. He also represented his college at the National Student Association. He went on to obtain his master’s degree in industrial administration and management from Yale University, where he sang with the Yale Russian Chorus. Through the chorus, Mr. Kleiman spent two summers singing in European concert halls and visited areas in the Soviet Union and Central Asia.
