Harmony Smith

Harmony Smith is a native Angeleno, but spent most of her childhood in Hanalei, Hawaii. She moved back to LA when she was 15 and started modeling with Elite Model Management, traveling around the world working on hundreds of campaigns, editorial shoots, and commercials. Back in Los Angeles, she began training at Playhouse West acting school and repertory theater, studying acting with Robert Carnegie and Jeff Goldblum. Harmony appeared in numerous television shows, films, and notorious commercials, such as the Clairol Herbal Essences "orgasm" spot. She co-starred as Rita, the double-crossing bank manager in the film "What Planet Are You From", a comedy directed by Mike Nichols. Harmony took a hiatus from the acting world to have children, loving family life. In 2010, Harmony decided it was time to return to her passion of acting. She has since starred in plays, including "A Mixed Tape", "Angel Asylum", and "Welcome Home Soldier", and films such as "Vampire Club", "Thrill Kill", and A Very Fragile Interior". In 2014, Harmony developed another passion: writing and directing! She wrote, directed, and produced two short films: "The Piano Nerd", for the 120 Hour Film Festival in 120 hours, and "You, Me, & Rumi". In 2015, Harmony founded a women's film making group, "Chicks Making Flicks", a group of 30 talented, up and coming film makers/actresses. CMF has already completed a comedy-horror short film, "The Escape", are in post production on a dramatic short film called "Daughters", and are in pre-production on a comedic web series called "Half Way". Harmony also intends to begin production on her feature film, "The Boulevard" in 2016.
