Harold Martin

I grew up on the east coast mostly in the Virginia and West Virginia area. I moved to Chicago in 1998 to attend college at DeVry University and graduated in 2001. I moved to Iowa in 2002 and have been here ever since.

I first got into computers when I was 12 years old and still remember my first PC. It was a Packard Bell 486SX with WHOPPING 8MB of RAM and HUGE 150MB HDD. Also had a blazing 9600baud dial-up modem. I've been into hacking, cracking, etc. ever since then and got into web and graphic design back in 1999 while in college.

I started my company HEM Designs in 1999 and have been operating it ever since on my own. HEM Designs has produced websites ranging from local art council websites to websites for tattoo shops.

I am big into social media and a big Facebook, Twitter, and Foursquare user. I absolutely love doing the localhost Show and have always had a desire to be on the radio in some form or another. I ran my own Shoutcast radio station back in 1998 for 3 years and also had a show on a different Shoutcast radio station back in 2002 for a year. I look at doing localhost Show as me returning to where I began, Internet radio, but now with a live video feed as well.
