Haroon Rashid

I’m a keen footballer, I used to play for my school which taught me how to be part of a team. One day I intend to join another football team. I also enjoy playing snooker, which helps with my concentration which is a vital part of the game.

I enjoy socialising with friends and enjoy mixing with different social groups from a wide range of backgrounds.

I am currently studying a college course on construction working towards a qualification in construction trades. The course involves electrical, plastering, joinery and tiling.
I enjoy the practical side of my course and am proficient at working with my hands.

Once I have completed my course it is my ambition to attend university and gain further qualifications in construction.
Eventually I would like to start my own construction company as it would give me more independence, being less reliant on others and also give me a chance to employ people and grow the business.
