Harper Spero
Born and raised in New York City, Harper has had a lifelong passion for music, photography, food, travel and networking. She has traveled throughout Israel and Europe and spends a significant amount of her time traveling the United States to music festivals. When she’s not at SXSW or New Orleans Jazz Fest, she’s trying all the delicious foods that New York City has to offer – and constantly finding flaws in restaurants and foods due to her picky-ness.
While living in Tel Aviv for several months in 2009, Harper took a photography course at The Galitz School of Photography. Never leaving her apartment without her camera, Harper was determined to capture the unique characteristics of Tel Aviv life through her lens. Harper's photography focuses mainly on the lifestyle/culture of urban communities and the portraits of the people who populate cities. After returning back to New York City, Harper has continued to capture her everyday experiences in the musical, artistic and cultural realms.
Harper has spent a significant amount of time connecting people. She thrives off of helping and guiding others. She loves sharing information and providing people with the knowledge of the great things New York City has to offer. Harper created GPS (www.gpspero.com) to help her friends, and friends-of-friends connect and navigate the city.
