i didn;t stand out graduate bshs. Overview C average business regents diploma; Eng Composition C, Science C, History C, Lab C+, Avocation C, Phys Ed C+, Gen Math B+, Home Economics B. Yet within scope of these average grades are hidden significant signs differences.
What good in then? A hidden artist- Art A- grades 1-12, i even won art award grade school, another as adult, Biology B+ ( the song don't know much about biology wouldn'tt pertain to me, intrinsic to biology definition have an inate understanding for the structures of life), math phobia? no way jose; consistently math grades 1-13 A plus, A or B+. Regents students take finals yearly ,in addition tests cover 4 years accumulaed knowledge. School students yearly finals only. My american history teacher 12th grade challenged regents american history class- believed among us students, if given opportunity take american history honors test, some of us would do well. If received A or better our record would show honors american history grade. I met challenge given the encouragement. In 8th grade i was border line honors student to matriculate entry high school i could either choose high school honors status or take regents subjects. The choice up to me, i ,made regents choice, not even my mom interfered my choice. My chance to get back. Whether or not american,world,or world history II current events, grades 9-11 did less than great, grade 12 i took honors test a special intervention, received american history test 98 given honors grade 98 A+.
An interesting analysis business regents vocational majors might combine business math subjects or computer sciences with administrative skills subjects, yet anything math- even if business arithmetic or bookkeeping still counts as math credits; whereas subjects typing,greg,transcription are credits in own separate category.
