Harriet Lewis

Harriet Lewis, PhD is Founder/Principal of Konesens Development, an international development consultancy that provides capacity-building training and research for NGOs, small businesses, and governmental entities in the areas of social inclusion, impact assessment, strategic development and operations, and market research.

A leader in the nonprofit/NGO sector for more than 20 years with organizations that serve individuals, businesses, and communities in urban, suburban, rural, and international arenas, Dr. Lewis brings significant breadth and depth to projects that address complex economic and social issues. More specific, over her career she has developed, implemented, and evaluated programs that serve refugees and immigrants, survivors of domestic violence, small businesses, exporters, economic development and tourism entities, and high-risk urban youth.

An avid reader, writer, who has published both scholarly articles and children's books, her current research interests include migration, transitional development, interfaith dialogue/action, and peace and security.
