Harriet Stanley

I'm Harriet, I'm twenty years old and I'm originally from a little town called Dunstable. I currently study at Southampton Solent University where my passion for writing has grown immensely and I'm more determined than ever to make a name for myself in the music industry.

I haven't always been doing music journalism, in fact for two years I attended Shuttleworth College in Biggleswade studying Animal Management. It was there that I realised my true passion, music, wasn't actually so far out of reach and against the odds I managed to secure my place at university where I refuse to look back.

So far, I've been offered numerous opportunities and I've developed so many skills that I know are going to be crucial to my future success. Now, I'm frequently travelling to concerts with press passes secured, I'm in contact with PRs, I've been offered a festival internship, I've become more confident with interviews and I've even produced my own podcast.

I'm looking forward to what the future holds for me and I can't wait to get myself out there doing what I love the most.
