Danielle Harris

Born in Oakland, CA, but grew up in San Diego. My passions include reading about my rich culture, writing poetry that stings and sparks conversations, and gathering groups of people who are willing to learn from each others' stories.

I like to start revolutions with my words, stampedes with my similes and movements with my metaphors. I am a walking poetry book; I carry people's stories in my heart and then write them down on paper. I am a performer, giving my muses 3 minutes of fame when I hit the stage and share their stories.

I am a student, an encourager, who wishes to inspire youth into believing that they can do anything, as long as they have the proper work ethic. I am a dreamer, a believer; I am a work in progress, a story still being written. I am bold but I am shy, I am lessons to be learned, I am growth. I believe in hope.
