HARRIS is a graduate in I.T from Strathmore Univerity and Professional student(Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) at the School of Accountancy at Strathmore University.He is also a member of the ISACA Porfessinal Member body. His interest is on System Auditing ,Entrepreneurship and also a Passionate Farmer. As part of his Degree he is developing Okoa Maisha a social platform network for blood donors and seekers
Besides his research, Harris is very enthusiastic about outreach activities: In the past he has assisted hospital patients on extra cirrucular activities,computer training and treatment, visited high schools and children's home .
He is also interested in technologies for the developing world.He was involved in an MIT's AITI project recently where he was part of the team designed a social platform network for blood donors. He is also the vice chairman of SUITSA, an I.T club at the university which promotes the need of information technology to Strathmore community and the Kenyan citizens.Harris also developed a decision support system that was to help farmers in practicing best farming best practices to improve their farming output which managed to represent Africa in Asia-Africa Global Social venture Competition that was held in India School of Business and also won the Best public application in Garage 48 competition held in Nairobi Kenya in September 2011.
Harris is a former student AITI program in Kenya 2011 summer.
