The author of 3 published novels in the 21st Century:

Nowhere Near the Sea of Cortez (2001)

A Bottle of Rain(2007, PenUSA Nominee)

As God Looked On (Livingston Press, Spring/2016)

I am currently at work on a 4th novel set in Tybee Island, GA. It has a ghost in it.

I am not an independent writer but rather happily dependent upon agents, publishers, libraries, and bookstores.

My fiction is humorous and oftentimes inappropriate as it delves into the minds of almost always marginalized human beings.

I write music reviews for the best alternative music site in the world: Soundblab.com

I am an independent photographer who shoots with a Nikon d800, Sony RX100, and Olympus E-Pl6.

Day Job: In charge of Web Applications for an Aerospace company that, among other parts, makes those curling tips on the wings of big jets....

What else? Well, I run 2 miles in the morning and 2 miles in the evening (If you consider 10 minute miles as running...)

My favorite drink is a whiskey sour.

My favorite all-time band is New Order.

My favorite writers of all time are Richard Brautigan, Tom Robbins, and William Faulkner.

My favorite artists of all time are Tom Waits and Charles Bukowski.

My most prized possession? A personal letter from Charles Bukowski that has a drawing and a quote you won't find anywhere else:

"Almost everything is a copy of something else that wasn't very good in the first place."

(Today I walked into a bike store in search of a tire pump, as I got a flat on the Katy Trail. I walked out with a new Trek FX 7.3. It is lighter faster and cooler than my very old Trek 820. Even with me on it. I ride a bike 40 miles a week. I do this so I can listen to the music I have to review. It's a better bike.)
