Harald B. Teicher (born June 23, 1964) is a Danish scientist and writer, and is the author of more than 20 scientific publications and theses, as well as technical and travel blogs. He is known for his meticulous research and imaginative storytelling.
Teicher’s first novel is The Isthmus, a sweeping historic saga covering the formation of the Danish Jutland Peninsula and its development through the Cretaceous Era to the arrival of man and the settlement of the farthest edge of the Weichsel Glacier: the Isthmus of West Jutland. A portrait of the development of a land and its people,The Isthmustraces the saga of a community fighting to establish its place in a bold and majestic environment.
Currently, Harald B. Teicher is working on the completion and publication of The Isthmus,and has started on his second major novel: The Escapement,a breathtakingly-paced historic trilogy of scientific discovery and intrigue based in Spain, Denmark and Israel.
