Hello! I am Harshad Acharya.

I was felicitated in with 'Global Pride Award- 2024' as 'Male Icon of the Year-IT' for my achievements and contribution in the field of Information Technology.

I am an Engineering & Management professional with 26+ years of experience in Information Technology across Engineering and Telecommunications industries across the globe. I built my career in giant companies and industry leaders like Reliance Industries Limited, Telcordia Technologies Inc., ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (India). I currently work as Vice President-OSS in Jio Platforms Limited, Navi Mumbai.

I hold patents granted by The European Patent Office and US Government Office of Patents and Trademarks as an inventor in Telecommunication Software domain.

On the personal front, I am a born Mumbaikar and stay in a suburb of Mumbai with my beloved wife Anagha and sweet daughter, Shreya.

I am an avid reader and a versatile, multilingual, multi-genre author as well as a poet in Marathi and English.

I am an author of 'Golden Book Award' winner and 'Amazon Best Seller #1' book - 'New Age Software Project Management'. The book was much appreciated by the professionals, software engineering students and teachers.

I have also published a fiction - 'Story of X and Y'.

I presented my poems in Marathi in ‘Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan’ in 2018 and 2021.

I call myself a humble social contributor and I contribute to society with regular financial aid to many social service organizations. I am a regular blood donor having donated blood on 35 occasions so far. Donate Blood & Save Life.

I am a mountaineer and trekker in Sahyadri ranges in Maharashtra state having topped more than 50 forts and mountains. I am passionate about running having completed several half-marathons and practicing hard with a target to complete a full marathon.
