Welcome to my homepage. I am Dr. Harshavardhan Reddy Pinninty, presently working as a Laser and Quantum Scientist at Quantlase Lab developing innovative solutions to complex problems. With over 10 years of academic and industrial research and development experience in lasers, optics and photonics, I have contributed to more than 40 scientific research publications by working on a wide range of cutting-edge research projects. I worked at Markolaser (Spinks World) developing innovative solutions for manufacturing special-purpose laser workstations for scientific and industrial applications, before joining Quantlase Lab.

I obtained my Interdisciplinary and Industrial PhD in Physics from Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) in 2023 by working at the Fiber Optics and Photonics Division of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) – Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute, Kolkata. Previously, I have graduated from University of Hyderabad with a 5-year Integrated Master of Science (IMSc) degree in Physics in 2014.

I am the recipient of Prestigious International and National Fellowships and briefly worked at Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom; University of Aveiro, Portugal; National University of Singapore, Advanced Centre of Research in High Energy Materials, University of Hyderabad and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, India as part of my scientific research. I have participated in several scientific research programs and represented India at Science and Policy Making Summit at the House of Lords, United Kingdom Parliament, London in 2019 and 62nd Lindau Nobel Laureates Meeting in 2012.

I am a natural explorer in life and science. I see mother nature as a teacher who always inspired me, while my parents taught me the fundamentals of life. In school, my education progressed with the help of many mentors. But it was learning the fundamentals of science after entering university which really formed the basis for my scientific career. I believe the ultimate aim of science is to serve the society.
