Harshal Bharatia
Student in Plano, Texas, USA
I am a student at the University of Texas at Austin with a passion for machine learning and artificial intelligence. I have a great interest in exploring pragmatic uses of AI to solve tough problems facing us, including my peer-reviewed research on autonomous learning (in IEEE SSCI-21, CAEPIA-21, and IEEE IJCNN) and also an intelligent thermostat granted a patent (US patent 10,948,210) in the area of machine learning. I have won various awards in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, including in Robotics and Intelligent Machines at the 2019, 2021, and 2022 International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), ACM/CSTA Cutler-Bell Prize in High School Computing, Regeneron Science Talent Search Top 300 national scholar, and Broadcom MASTERS semi-finalist. I am also a semi-finalist for the 2022 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program, and was honored with a prestigious 2022 Eugene McDermott Scholars award. My current research interests are in the area of deep machine learning applications, reinforcement learning, dynamic ensembles, and autonomous learning. I am a Dallas Mavericks fan, love composing music, and playing beautiful melodies on my clarinet, guitar, and piano.
