Harshil Patel

I am currently in my 2nd year of Mechanical Engineering at the Lassonde School of Engineering. I have always loved anything and everything to do with mechanics. I am very interested in sustainable energy and hope to work on projects related to this field.

As an engineering student I am fairly busy; to relax and help my mental health I like to play sports at York University in the Intramural program here. I was named athlete of the year for my collage. I am actively involved in my collage from Orientation week to athletics.

I recently traveled to Technion Institute of Technology for a international exchange for and engineering/ entrepreneurship course. It was an amazing experience seeing how people have brought there start-up ideas into a multi-million dollar company. It was really inspiring and exposed me to new opportunities, that I would of never of imagined.
