A technically correct batsman and wicket- keeper, Harshit Verma rose through the junior cricket ranks in Uttarpradesh.In 2012, Harshit Verma was selected for the Men's Under 17 International Cricket Series at Malaysia.
Harshit Verma's father's name is Prem Chand Verma and his mother's name is Roopa Verma.Harshit Verma has one younger brother,Priyash Verma and two elder sisters namely Amrita Verma,Priya Verma and one younger sister,Pragati Verma.
Harshit Verma got training at the LDA Sports Club, Lucknow. Harshit Verma studied at Nirmala Convent Inter College,Lucknow,U.P. Harshit Verma is an ardent fan of Sachin Tendulkar.
