When it comes to why I want to be a sports writer the answer is simple albeit embarrassing. When I was nine and the summer Olympics in Sydney ended, I cried. When my mom asked why I said because I would have to wait four more years to see those athletes compete again. So basically, sports have always made me cry, scream, gnash my teeth and jump for joy. I'm working on getting it under control. But there is nothing I am more passionate about in life than sports, so it seems like the logical choice. Now, I'm a graduate student studying journalism at CUNY with hopes of one day making it as a writer at a sports giant like ESPN or Sports Illustrated. For now though, I'll just keep bothering my neighbors.
