I have a diploma in business administration and economics and am a licensed air traffic controller. I am thankful I could collect a wide range of work stations at old and new economy players and experienced many different cultures and countries. Since 2013 I carry full P&L responsibility.

I am the Managing Partner for Yext in Central Europe. My task is to build that business which I started in Jan 2017, one of the most exciting professional experiences I can think of. At Yext we help businesses around the world by putting them in control of their data everywhere in a world that is dominated by intelligent systems and voice search.

I led Google's AdTech business (Doubleclick) for the same region in 2015 and 2016 where I witnessed exponential growth first hand in the field of programmatic advertising, media buying solutions and marketing automation.

2011 through 2014 I was CMO of zanox (today awin) and CEO of eprofessional, a company of zanox group (today awin), Axel Springer and Swisscom.

Before that: three years as Executive Director Brand Marketing at Opel/Vauxhall, one year at eBay leading Brand Marketing and Design and five years at BMW in Germany, Asia, Middle East and South Africa in Sales and Marketing positions.

Before joining BMW I sold my digital agency that I had founded 4.5 years before (in April 1998) and quit my job as an air traffic controller.

I left the German Air Force as Captain after 9.5 years of service.

I have a beautiful wife, two amazing daughters, love sports, tech, devices, motor boats and our Mallorca family home.
