Henry Ruiz

I obtained my B.A. degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Antonio Jose Camacho University in Cali, Colombia. I ‘m a Microsoft Student Partner, Microsoft Community Specialist and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer. Before joining Harvest Plus, I worked as a Systems Analyst for the Systems Information Unit at CIAT, specifically in the Scientific Databases & Web Development area for three years. I am experienced in developing mobile (Windows phone 7, 8, 8.1, Android) and web applications in different platforms such as .Net,Java, Python using Django, among others, and SharePoint application development and image processing using C++ and Opencv; also Images Processing. Using OpenCV with c++. I received meritorious recognition for my thesis Virtual Interpreter for communication for people with oral and auditory disabilities.
I’m a Research Assistant of Destino Group of Pontificia Javeriana University http://cic.puj.edu.co/wiki/doku.php?id=grupos:destino:destino; we are a group of Computer Science researchers developing and applying computational models to solve multidisciplinary problems. Actually, we work in: Graphical and visual modeling, Software and construction modeling, Data and information recovery and modeling, Pattern recognition.
