In March 2011, Harvey & Company initiated the divestiture of select recycling assets of Casella Waste Systems (NASDAQ:CWST) to form a new recycled products platform called ReCommunity. Leveraging the assets and intellectual property purchased from Casella, ReCommunity intends to build a market-dominant company that dramatically reduces the volume of land-filled waste through conversion into useful products such as recycled commodities, low-carbon energy, engineered feedstock, bio-fuels and other value-added recycled products. Mr. Bohlig’s fifteen year career at Casella Waste Systems, including seven years as President and Chief Operating Officer, and operating perspective provided the insight and opportunity to create a new high-growth platform and poise it for success.
