I am a Philadelphia-based artist, graphic designer and composer working in a variety of disciplines and styles. My work includes fine art, consumer packaged goods, original music and film/video soundtracks.

Art

I've recently begun exploring oil painting out of the need to relax and from my desire to explore the unique properties of the materials. My paintings incorporate meditative repetitions of line, color, and organic forms.

Design

By day, I am a graphic designer with over 15 years of experience in consumer package design as well as an array of various print and web advertising. I currently work at a design studio servicing Fortune 500 companies in the health care industry.

Audio

After playing in rock and jazz bands in college, I composed the score for the award-winning animated film Plain and Simple and wrote and performed all of the music for a trio of irreverent Christmas CDs. My music is influenced by artists ranging from Danny Elfman to Death Cab for Cutie, Prince Paul to Raymond Scott. While my first instrument was guitar, my home studio is now crowded with a range of percussion, accordion, tuba, and even a bulbul tarang. My eclectic tastes encompass a variety of styles and genres.
