Biography:

Hassan Ahmed Oyindamola, popularly known as Hassan Tha Kreator, is a distinguished filmmaker, director, and producer affiliated with Juju Film Studios.

Hassan's journey into filmmaking began at a young age, driven by a deep passion for creating engaging narratives. At 18, during his undergraduate studies at the University of Ilorin, he created his debut short film, "Aduke the Movie." This film not only gained significant attention at the University of Ilorin but also resonated widely at the University of Lagos, earning him the prestigious Best Student Movie award in Nigeria from the All Nigerian Crest Awards (ANUCA). His talent was further recognized internationally when he won the Dhaka OIC Youth Capital Awards 2020-2021 for his short film "Wasted," representing the African region. These early successes marked Hassan as an emerging talent in the Nigerian film industry.

Hassan's recent accolades at the Hollywood wing of the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF) (NEFTI) have solidified his presence in the global film community. He received the Audience Choice Award, drawing praise from influential Hollywood figures such as Paul Robinson, Founder of the Nefti film competition, esteemed actress Vivica A. Fox, Ted Galiano, Chairman of Post Production at 21st Century Fox, and Academy Award winner Bruce Cohen.

Throughout his career, Hassan has demonstrated remarkable versatility. He has served as a Media Operations Post Production Support Engineer on popular shows like Big Brother Nigeria and Nigerian Idols, showcasing his skill in managing the technical aspects of media production. Additionally, Hassan is actively developing his production company, Juju Film Studios, based in Abuja, Nigeria.
