H. A. Titus

Upper Peninsula, Michigan

Even at an early age, H. A. Titus could be most often found with her nose stuck in a book or spinning story-worlds in her head. She attributes this to her unique home-school upbringing. Her mom encouraged her to write down the stories she came up with, and her dad spurred on her imagination by handing her The Lord of the Rings at age twelve.
Now, she lives on the shores of Lake Superior, married to a meteorologist who does his best to make sure she emerges into the real world occasionally. She is mommy of two boys: baby angel Matty; and goofy, active Little T.
When not writing or taking care of her "boys", she can be found muddling her way through healthy recipes in the kitchen, drooling over cute, vintage-inspired clothing and decor online, or rock-climbing, jet-skiing, skiing, or snowmobiling.
She writes steampunk, urban fantasy, and epic fantasy about ordinary people who are shaped into heroes. Her collaborative steampunk serial available for free online at The Lost Scribes blog. Her short stories have been published in Digital Dragon Magazine, Residential Aliens Magazine, and the anthologies Alternative Witness and Avenir Eclectia Volume 1.
