Jim Haughwout (pronounced "how-it") is passionate about creating technology that let people discover new items of interest, do things they have never been able to do before and overcome "unsolvable" problems. A tech versatilist, he is equally comfortable developing new technology as he is figuring out ways to help people use it to work and live with greater ease. Jim is currently using Sensor Analytics, Machine Learning and the Internet of Things to transform business. His work has been featured by Fast Company, Network World, ZDNet, Social Media Today, the IBM Press, CIO Magazine, GigaOm, the MIT Enterprise Forum and more.
His favorite ways to relax are travel (he only gave up his old film SLR after using it in over 69 countries), art, exercise and cooking (various attempts to combine the influences of Alton Brown, Tom Colicchio, and Isa Chandra Moskowitz).
