Roaster

A Roaster (or a Bräter in German) is a flat rectangular, round or oval thing to cook with and it has two handles, with which you can cook, for example, pork or roast goose in an oven.

Ein Bräter ist ein flaches rundes, ovales oder rechteckiges Kochutensil, in dem man toll z. B. eine Gans oder einen Braten zubereiten kann.

Cast iron casseroles are widely used, but like pans they are also available in stainless steel, copper, drawn iron and aluminum with non-stick coating, and in iron also with heat-resistant enamel coating.

Edelstahl Bräter sind sehr häufig anzutreffen, ebenso sich Bräter aus Aluguß oder Gusseisen.
