Haute Design Studio is a full service interior design firm. We provide complete project management from start through completion to create ease and peace of mind for all of our clients. Our expertise can maximize your design budget while creating unique, functional spaces which will suit your lifestyle. Our services include assistance in consulting with architects and builders, space planning, furniture planning, and selecting high quality home furnishings. We specialize in custom-made pieces, window treatments, wall and floor treatments, accessories, art selection, and color consultation for homeowners with discriminating taste. In addition we offer Green Design to all of our clients in Orange County and all of Southern California.

Award winning principal designer Shala Shamardi has been a resident of Newport Beach for over 30 years and has worked in the design field for over 16 years. Known for her innate design ability, she is an avid international traveler who draws from a rich variety of design styles to create distinctive, tasteful spaces. In addition to her existing B.A. degree, she returned to school to pursue her love of design and received an additional degree from Interior Designer Institute (a FIDER accredited design school in Newport Beach) with the highest recognitions in all fields.

Amongst her achievements Shala is a four-time participant in the Philharmonic House of Design. She has received national attention for her design talents, appearing on HGTV Flip or Flop. Most recently she has been the featured designer in the March and November 2012 issues of Newport Beach Magazine. She has also been published in the November issue of Orange Coast Magazine.

For 2012-2013, Shala added to her previous awards by becoming the recipient of another award of excellence from the American Society of Interior Designers:

-The Platinum Award of Excellence for Dining Room Design 2012 - 2013
-The Platinum Award of Excellence in Commercial Design 2011-2012
-The Gold Award of Excellence for Living Room Design 2011 - 1012
-The Platinum award of Excellence for Bathroom Design and Remodel 2010 - 2011

Her work has also been published in various publications including Orange Coast Magazine, Orange County Home magazine, The Orange County Register, Coast Magazine, Newport Beach Magazine, Henry Schein Magazine, and Riviera.
