Robert Hayes
I grew up in Rock Hill, SC and graduated from Northwestern High School in 2001. I went from Rock Hill to Clemson and graduated from Clemson University in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. It was during this time that I met my future wife Mary Dell (we have been married since February, 2009). Upon graduating from Clemson, I moved back to Rock Hill where I worked with Winthrop Athletics for about a year. In the summer of 2006 I moved to Columbia. I worked with the Governor's Office of Veterans' Affairs and United Way for a combined 5 years before starting graduate school at the University of South Carolina. I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching - Physical Education in May, 2013. I worked at White Knoll Elementary for the 2013-2014 academic year before taking my current position at Deerfield Elementary.
Deerfield has been amazing thus far and I am looking forward to the rest of this school year and many more to come!
