Hello, my name is Hayley Brentmar. I am many things, including: a reader, mother, artist, daughter, wife, designer, sister, homemaker, traveler, educator, gardener and much more. Also, I'm a creative type at heart. Most of all I love gardening, art, crafting and interior design (both of my own home, and in the homes of others). One of my favorite things to do is take old "junk" and breath new life into it. I transform old things into something new and beautiful. Creating treasures form "cast offs" is my specialty.

I am a sucker for packaging. Plus, I feel like aesthetics are crucial in every situation. Dark humor is my favorite, so is traveling. I've driven through (almost) all of our United States (just about 4 more to go!). I know how to swing dance, drive a stick shift, and although I'm not very good... I enjoy a game of billiards.

I am a lifelong lover of literature. And, although my college degree is in Fine Art, I suspect that I also have enough credits for a second bachelor's degree in Literature! I am also former elementary school teacher turned homeschool teacher.
