Hayley Fung

Hi and welcome to my page! My name is Hayley Fung and I am currently in my second year studying Creative Industries at Ryerson University in Downtown, Toronto. I am an eager student who loves to learn new digital techniques, meet new people, and am always a great helping hand.

I currently work part time in cosmetics retail and am a cosmetician at the Beauty Boutique inside Shoppers Drug Mart. In the future, I aspire to be a digital marketer for a cosmetic or skincare brand and create or promote their campaigns, boost their social media platforms, and brand exposure as a whole. I have a passion for creating online content which can range from designing promotional posters, educational and awareness videos, as well as content for school clubs. When I was around 12 years old, I started getting into photoshop and started creating content for books and movies and gained up to 15,000 followers. I did this for a little over a year until it was too time consuming and decided to close the account. From this experience, I discovered that when you dedicate your time and hard work to something consistently, others will acknowledge your dedication and skills.

My interests range from anything creative and hands-on based to baking desserts and pastries during my free time. I am a photo and video editor for the Ryerson Formula Racing team for the university and am in charge of designing and creating promotional videos for their YouTube channel, as well as editing their photos for their Instagram account. From this, I would like to gain more experience and connections to successfully have more connections that will be useful in the future.

I am always willing to learn and improve my skillset and knowledge and am looking forward to what the future has to offer!
