Studying design has taught me to be more free and expressive in my work and has encouraged me to stretch my creative boundaries. I have learnt that it is often better to make mistakes and learn through positive criticism than to stay safe and do what I know best.
Generating an idea and researching its potential is very exciting. Developing the ideas and sketching is a process that I love to do and I enjoy witnessing the concepts going through their different stages solving problems and coming up with different solutions- how things can come to life from the drawing board to the final product is very rewarding. I also enjoy the practical element too, being in the workshop with the tools and choosing and working with the most suitable materials to carefully ensure the best results.
