Consultant in Portland, Oregon

Hey there, I’m Steven.

I’m a search engine marketing consultant living in Portland, Oregon. I help small business owners get more paying customers to their websites using targeted Google traffic.

Let me ask you a quesiton:

Have you ever done a Google search for your business and found... your competitor's website instead?

It can be frustrating knowing there is an abundance of paying customers using Google search that are already searching for the products or services you provide... they just can't find you!

I help fix that problem.

My team works to get visibility to your website on the top of major search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing.

Did you know that Google receives about 63,000 searches per second? It's where your business needs to be positioned if you want to be in front of targeted, paying customers in your local area.

It doesn't matter what your industry is...

When a customer is looking for your exact product or services, my team will get your website to show up above your competition in the search results.

Well, before I answer this, we need to understand how Google's search results work...

Anytime someone searches for something on Google, it MUST be relevant to their search results... Or else they would start using a different search engine.

Google works very hard to make sure that only trusted websites make it to the top of their search engine. Their search engine algorithms filter out spam, foreign websites, and malicious websites on a daily basis.

For a site to make it on the top of any search engine results page (SERP) we need to make Google know that we're a trusted website who deserves to be at the top of the SERPs.

So... How can you make my website trusted?

Google looks for hundreds of different website factors to determine if a website is worthy of taking the first page of the SERPs.

They look for "trust signals" such as online reviews, Twitter and Facebook presence, relevant content on your website and in your title pages.

But... There is one trust factor that Google considers the most important.

And that is relevant backlinks. When other trusted websites link to your website, they are "vouching" for you on the internet.

Google sees websites like a popularity contest... and when you have lots of websites talking about you. You move up in the search engines!

Outside of online marketing, my hobbies include exploring downtown Portland and other forms of entrepreneurship.
