After seventeen years as a primary school teacher with a special interest in teaching multilingual children, I am now a doctoral researcher at Oxford Brookes University, studying ways to help children who speak more than one language to do well at school.

I am on the executive of NALDIC (National Association of Language Development in the Curriculum).
