Ho Yee Chau

I am an international student from Hong Kong who came to the United States to further my education. I originally studied in the State of Washington, and now I am a Global Studies major at Azusa Pacific University. It is a fortunate experience for me to study in the U.S. This has provided me with an opportunity to learn how to interact with a community which is out of my comfort zone.

Since I understand the feeling of living in a foreign country, I hope to use my personal experiences and education to help out new immigrants to fit into a new community. I have worked with Pakistani children in Hong Kong to help them to connect with children who were born in Hong Kong.

I love to be close to the nature. My father took me to hike in his free time when I was growing up. This gave me a chance to learn the beauty of mother nature. I also enjoy creating art work as an entertainment because it helps me to relax from my intense school life.
