Helena Amaltheia Corsuza
Student in New York
So, um, hi. My name is Helena Amaltheia Corsuza. Well, you might have seen it written on my profile- uh, okay. I was born in Devon, United Kingdom, twenty-two years ago on June 9th. I grew up and raised there for ten years, before me and my Papa moved to Melbourne. I have been staying in there ever since.
Growing up without a figure of a mother and other siblings made me turned into someone who's an introvert and quite stiff, too. My Papa has no interest in marrying another woman so I don't know how does it feel to go shopping with your mother or just simply learn how to cook with your mother (Though Papa says that I'm a natural cook). Also, I have never had a friend ever since I was a kid because Papa doesn't let me to go to school. He prefers teaching me alone at home (I don't understand why, too. But Papa is brilliant!). Papa is an entrepreneur, he has his own nursery. I have been working in that nursery since I was ten years old. That's because I really like gardening. I spend most of my time gardening, arranging the plants... everything! Papa says I was born to inherit these abilities from my mother. Which is weird because... what kind of mother would be really good at planting things and stuff? Though, I don't mind. That'd be cool if Papa did marry someone whom he met in his nursery since he likes gardening too.
However, on my seventeenth birthday, my Papa told everything to me. He said that I'm actually a demigod and is a daughter of Demeter, Goddess of Harvest and Agriculture. It was the weirdest present my Papa ever gave to me, moreover, he gave it on my seventeenth birthday... Yeah. So, I was shocked. I finally understood why does Papa love to teach me about the Greek Mythology, why does he mention Demeter a lot, why did a fat woman with a lion as her pet try so hard to kill me when I was fifteen, and those non-sense things that happened to me back then.
And this year, Papa heard that there's a place that could be the safest place on earth for me is going to be opened. Papa said he'll drive me there and he hopes that I'd enjoy my stay. Me? ...I'm not sure at all. I've been living my entire life with Papa and now I have to move... That sounds... um.
But well, I hope that I could get along with everyone there. I hope there's someone who fancies gardening as much as I do, too. And I have to say sorry if I spend too much time being alone. I will try my best to mingle with everyone. Thank you for reading this. See you.
