Hayley Duggins
Student in Knoxville, Tennessee
Hi! My name is Hayley Duggins and I am a senior majoring in Finance with a collateral in Marketing and minoring in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
I grew up in Knoxville and attended the Webb School. At Webb, I was involved in band, sailing, and had 100+ hours of community service. From 2nd grade to the end of my senior year, I also played piano and received superior ratings in competitions from 2010-2017.
As a freshmen at UT, I immediately joined the sorority, Pi Beta Phi. In Pi Phi, I am on the Arrowboard and Philanthropy committees, and I am also lived in the sorority house my sophomore year. Although I love spending time with my sisters, academics is always the main priority when coming to school. I graduated from the 1794 Honors Program sophomore year and lived in the 1794 LLC my freshmen year in Orange Hall. I am also a member of the academic fraternity, Phi Eta Sigma, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. By the end of my freshmen year, I made the dean’s list twice for the fall and spring semesters.
My personal interests include Disney, baseball (go Braves!), UT football and basketball, Netflix, HGTV, and spending time with my friends and family. My family and I have taken over 50 trips to Disney World, and I have also travelled to Disneyland in California and Disneyland Paris. Because of my love for the Disney Parks, I did the Disney College Program spring 2020 as a merchandise cast member. I am hoping to return to Disney and work with the company in the future.
I am honored to be working as a peer mentor this semester for BUAD 100 and am excited to meet everyone! Go Vols!
