Ben Chan is a highly skilled Head and Neck surgeon based in Auckland, with extensive training and international experience in advanced surgical oncology and thyroid surgery. Having completed his medical degree at the University of Otago in 2009 and awarded Fellowship in the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2019, Ben has trained and worked across New Zealand and Canada. His expertise covers thyroid cancer, oral cavity, throat, salivary gland, sinonasal, and skin cancers, as well as nasal obstruction and sinus surgery. With deep knowledge of head and neck pathology, he combines precision, care, and compassion in every treatment.

Currently serving as a consultant surgeon at North Shore Hospital, Ben is also actively involved in surgical training and leadership roles, helping shape the next generation of specialists. He is recognized not only for his technical excellence but also for his clear, empathetic communication and commitment to patient care.
