I love camping in the mountains. I spend a lot of time doing what I love so I need the proper gear that I can rely on. Now I have bought a lot headlamps in the past. You know, those "bargain" packs off the shelf at the local store. I cannot count the times that either they failed straight out of the package or were broken after a couple of uses.
