I was a professional animal trainer at the San Diego Zoo for 8 years. As part of the Behavior Management Team I worked with sea lions, wolves, cheetahs, raptors, as well as many other exotic species.

I have been training dogs for over 20 years both professionally and personally. At one time I trained my dogs for competitive dog sports like conformation, obedience and agility.

While I no longer trial my dogs or take new clients I would love to share my experiences and help dog and pet parents all over learn about training and animal behavior. I hope you enjoy my blog!
