Hardy is my nick name. I am a retired military officer. After a very satisfying military career, these days I am spending my retired life running a charitable NGO called 'Foundation Freedom Trust'; active in Chandigarh/ Panchkula. Idea of charitable trust has come about because I would like to promote a rare herb 'ganoderma', which is 100% organic, certified (Good Manufacturing Practices (Malaysia), TGA (Austrelia), ISO 9000, ISO 14001 etc certificates). In India it is available only through Direct Sales (like AMWAY, AVON, Modi Care etc) . Sale of 'ganoderma' would generate certain profits. But keeping with Indian social norms, many of my friends would feel bad that a senior retired military officer is indulging in Direct Sales for profits. Therefore, a charitable trust 'Foundation Freedom' has come about where all the profits of Direct Sales would go. This money would be used to subsidize the cost for poor. Also if more money gets generated, which is fairly easy in case of genuine MLM companies, the Trust would start running 'Human Development Courses' for volunteers, free of cost.
