An alumna of the COC Ensemble Studio, Frédérique Vézina has performed on many opera stages. Her favorite roles include Mimi (La Bohème), Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Liza (Queen of Spades), and Micaëla (Carmen). She also had the immense privilege of creating the title role of Lillian Alling in 2010.

Frédérique is passionate about teaching in all of its aspects. Igniting a fire in todays young Canadian singers has become a mission and joy to her. She is committed to ensuring that sound vocal technique never goes unaccompanied by profound and soulful expression.
