Greetings and Salutations!

My name is Allison, and I am a 27-year old Speech-Language Pathologist living in the Cleveland area. I live (in sin) with my amazing boyfriend, Alex, and the most spoiled Miniature Schnauzer in Ohio, Heidi.

I lost both of my parents to "The C-Word" in 2010 and 2013. Prostate and Ovarian.

I have learned to cope and deal with their deaths by sharing my stories about them with others, surrounding myself with positive memories of them, and (most importantly) cooking food that reminds me of them.

From drinking simple cup of tea in my mom's mug, to mastering a 3-pound meatloaf (not even joking), I fill my heart&soul&stomach with wonderful memories, and it brings Mom and Dad back to me - even if only for a second.
