I am just a girl who has a passion for history and politics. I'm definately a Progressive, I believe in equal rights for all. I just want to change the world one person at a time. I believe in polite, but lively debate. I hope to achieve my dream of being a Professor of History. I'm OBSESSED with all thing Thomas Jefferson and if I could work at Monticello I would be in heaven!
I have just finished my BA in History and Political Science and unemployed! HA! But I have just started my pursuit of my Master's in History and then moving on to my PhD. But rather than sitting still I have started some amazing projects! First is my blog Confessions of A Political Addict. I have taken current stories and present the facts along with some historical background. I also throw in the occasional 'This Day in History' post. Again, History is my passion. The second project that I am working on is a book. With this project I would like to collect the stories of veterans of our armed forces and tell them in their own words. I believe that they are living history and their stories need to be told.
Thats me! The short and the long. I feel so lucky to have an amazing husband to support me on tihs journey! I can't wait to begin changing the world!
