Heather Bulman

My name is Heather Bulman and I am a second-year Public Relations student at Durham College (DC). As a result of my vast customer service experience, I have the ability to understand a customer’s needs in order to serve them in the most effective manner. This experience, combined with the skills I have gained from my fast-track program at DC, make me a flourishing PR practitioner.

Through my various leadership roles, I have demonstrated the ability to motivate teams to achieve various goals. However, when working within a team, my outgoing and positive attitude help me to succeed in either a leadership or supporting role.

I am currently the communications intern at The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, which has strengthened my passion for art, culture and communications.

I have also had the opportunity to be a part of Experience DC, DC's most ambitious marketing campaign to date, which allows 14 unique students share their college experience through social networking. Check out my page on the Experience DC microsite!
