I was raised on a 94,000 acre state forest in Northern Michigan and therefore the great outdoors is in my blood. I feel grounded when I can have my feet on the earth. I have two exceptional parents that taught me to pursue my dreams; and I am supported by three amazing siblings. I've worked in the military, in the corporate world, and now make my professional home in education. I LOVE working with teenagers and feel privileged to impact young adults as they begin their journey in this global and ever-changing world. I love to teach because I love to learn!
